Hotel Aqualand resort is a newly built apartment hotel, adjacent to Aqualand Theme Water Park, one of the most famous Water Parks in the world. A small village within 250.000 m2, designed in the typical Corfiot style, which besides the water park includes the newly constructed 158 apartment and studios hotel, and double rooms as well offering all the high standards of accommodation and services including restaurants, bars, swimming pools, tennis courts, gym room and much more. Within the village, the 3rd largest in the world WAVE POOL has been constructed, in an area of 4.500m2, having a system to produce up to 2,20m waves. Accommodation The hotel has 118 furnished apartments studios and 40 double rooms, a total of 720 beds: Studios: (1 bedroom with sofa converting into a double bed, kitchen and bathroom). Apartments: (1 bedroom - 1 living room with sofa converting into a double bed, with kitchen and bathroom). All rooms are equipped with telephone, Satellite TV, fridge, safe box (with charge), split units AC, shower and microwave on request. All Inclusive Food and Drinks The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:30-10:00), lunch (12:30-15:00) and dinner (19:00-21:30), all buffet style, served in the Pleiades restaurant. During meals post-mix soft drinks and juices, tap water, local wine by the carafe and draught beer are offered. Snacks such as two types of sandwiches and four types of hot snacks are available at the Orion pool bar from 10:00-12:30, as well as ice cream by the scoop (three flavors) from 10:00-12:30 and 15:00-18:00. Teatime with coffee and cake is between 16:00 and 18:00 at the Orion. Locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks like post-mix soft drinks and juices, tap water, local wine by the carafe, draught beer, local spirits (ouzo, brandy, aperitifs, whiskey, rum, vodka, gin, tequila), five AI alcoholic cocktails and two AI children's cocktails, filter coffee, tea and hot chocolate are served at the Orion pool bar (10:00-18:00), Pegasus main bar (18:00-23:00) and at the Cinema bar (21:00-23:00). Sports and Leisure The hotel offers entertainment with lots of fun for all ages. Besides the excitement within the Water Park, they have created the Aqualand Village, a complex that offers: wave pool in an area of 4.500 m2 and waves up to 2,20m, the 3rd biggest in the world, courts for tennis, basket and Volley, sauna and gym room and young peoples animation team. Day and evening entertainment activities by professional animators are also available. Chargeable Extras The Aquarius wave pool bar and restaurant(operation July and August), the Ice land bar and all outlets in the Aqualand water park are not included in the AI concept. Regular charges apply for consumptions in the above outlets. Facilities and Services In the hotel one can find spacious lounges, Mini market and Souvenir shop. Water Park free access During their stay Hotel customers have the privilege to enter the Water Park without paying entrance fee. Useful Information on Distances The hotel is located in the central part of the island, ideally located in the central west 7 km from Corfu town, 6 km from the airport, while the most fascinated island's beaches Glyfada and Myrtiotisa (ideal for nudism) are approximately 5 km away.
